-Porn sites spam unleashed!!
Throughout this,we will have small glimpse of porn sites spamming and the crimes surrounding it. We have seen how innocent internet users are attacked by crackers through various technical vulnerabilities and security loop holes. But with recent advancements and improvements in the security aspects, online, many of these loop holes have been removed and the process is still moving fast. Many crackers have been caught and executed in recent years. But in-order to completely curb cyber crime what we need is mass awareness, which definitely is not there. Users are still being hacked every other day and always the law or the security agencies cannot keep their eye on every moving file on the web. They cannot be held responsible for everything that goes wrong with us. This mass awareness that we have been pushing for so long is incomplete if we ignore the most prominent way the hackers are quickly adopting to continue their attacks are the millions of porn websites available on the World Wide Web. People of all age groups above 15 access explicit content from one or the other porn website (which is a natural humanbehaviour and is out of question). These websites provide lucrative links to several different sections and that is where internet
attackers find their way in. There is more to these web sites than meets the eye. The attackers simply attach their malicious software to these links and they get activated as soon as they are clicked. People generally consider talking about porn as a big taboo in public but we should know this
(As per previous statistics)So with the figures that we have, we cannot deny the prominent existence of pronography in the society ,when 68 million searches are made about one particular topic ,a context which earns thousands of dollars a second ,above billions of email being sent every day about the same but this is not the matter of worry the real matter of worry is that its an pitfall to get caught into the trap its not always what it looks,now a days porn is being used as a source to spread worms trojans ,steal personal data,make zombie system to continue Denial of service attacks on the major websites etc.
So understanding the intensity of the situation, we must be able to recognize that closing our eyes will not help, rather we must be aware what’s going in the name of porn.
As already mentioned these statistics were of bit past,Let us assume the statistics per today whose count would be definitely more.So let’s see what happens on the name of pornography and the most common way the porn sites deceive people:
The here and there game
There are many sites always showing invitations to a particular place like “ I am at your place, want to meet me for **** tonight?” and so the person getting excited for it clicks the links and what next ,the next thing is that the situation goes directly into the hackers hand there are enormous things he can do once you just open a page designed by him .The victim need not even click any link on anything on the page opening the page is enough. Let’s go through practical work to bust these sites and their masks.
Look at the girl in the green first row, she is right now in Visakhapatnam inviting people for a f**k
(Below)Now look at the first person in the second row, at the same time she is also there in boca raton this cannot be true unless and until Einstein would have taught her time travel to exist at two different places at the same place,
Thanks to my proxy whose location was boca raton .So what these sites generally do is, they grab the location of our browsing activity and replace the location with our location, so they actually never exist(Manytimes,but do sometimes too,depending on site trustworthiness).I didn’t work with this site to mention is this correct or not and you can find the girl or not :P,i was just trying to show the spamming they are doing.
And this was not funny enough. Look at this , they are also present in a proxy that’s really funny, I never heard about the existence of a place called Anonymous Proxy and perhaps this is enough to prove their malicious activity.My previous proxy was detected to be from boca raton place and now???
This is just an ounce from the fake world that exits around us.
The so called live:
Lets now trip down to another scam that widely occurs over the internet ,is fake live cams, whenever you encounter a message saying “view live sex chat cam”, you tend to believe them .I don’t think so because I hardly find people whom I know online and it is even more rare to have a video chat with them. So how do we believe that at some part of the world there would be someone wasting all her time to chat with you for free.
Lets pick anyone present on the available list and open the live chat with her !!!
So madam is on her live show , after passing some messages to her saying ur looking sexy,remove this,remove that and others, it pops up that “enter this site to view my private show”, then you will obviously have to pay for it and there the administrators are kind enough to accept your payment online so that you can instantly get an access to the performer’s private show, but the other side of the coin still remains hidden.
After an hour .. The same video continues over and over again, for an final verification after checking for the next day, it is still the same video playing if u click on the same user again next day, now that’s total crap. Now you must be wondering how the messages were being displayed from the other side and also were quite reasonable,some are innocent people like us who fall into crap and keep sending messages to remove this and that and shit thinking its real girl and not knowing its a predefined cam video being played and others may be chat bots.
Chat bots:
These are automated programs to just reply to a few common phrases . It can be done very easily by a switch case function in a c program or also in VB script and many others. For instance, if the input string from the user contains age, the chat bot will reply with a predefined message assigned with the keyword age, hence there are various keywords associated there to send a predefined message deluding the user as if someone were present on the other side of the web, but try giving some unusual message and you will clearly understand that it is a program running on the other side .
So what about the links that were sent from the other side?.They were malicious links, which when clicked once, make the user a victim of their malicious intentions.(Many times)
Popup:Many times we come across the popping advertisements which are so lucrative that we can’t resist clicking it but once clicked is it really the same page that opens after the click ?.No, almost never, it is rather a way to keep the user busy looping through pages and pages so that they keep getting their revenues from our clicks and we foolishly keep looping through their fake pages to find girls or something.
For instance they display a picture of some so called lady with a message for us(this image has been just taken for example) and many a times whenever u visit a page you get message like “Ur 10,000 visitor to this page,so we offer u a gift,please clik on this link” and some stuff process goes on,and ask ur friend to click on the same page and even he will get same message “how much 10,000th click maybe done by two others??Huh??? sometimes the website administrator plays tricks like not to display that pop up if they are from same location or if they are in same network to make them self secure and making people not to know about their scams,there are lots of other tricks they perform which can be clearly dealt with simple common sense :P
And they us ask to click the image to see the enlarged one. When we click on it may cause many disasters such as viruses and worms to spread to your system, which are attached behind the image and that maybe adsense and many others attached behind it.The beow one is one of the screen shot used by some person for his adsense and i have found it some time ago.
DESTROYED IN CLICKS :
So what is really happening when we are into it or we click any of the links provided by them??
1. The links execute malicious software on the victim’s system, which can harm the system. There are worms which collect all the credentials from the victim’s system which may include bank account passwords, email accounts passwords and other valuable data.
2. Credit cardMany sites ask u for credit cards…off course some are true and many others are fake…they don’t provide u anything after u pay them money and moreover , even the one from the fake live cam was the same case of fraduadnt
If that particular site is not genuine…they steal our card details and can make our card balance to zero…so never enter card details unless and until it is trustable site only and many sites now a days are fake one which steals credit card detail
1. zombie systems:
the word zombie means some one not in ones control and being controlled by external forces,same follows with computers a zombie is a computer whose control has been taken over by a cracker by means of installing some malicious program on the victims system like virus,Trojan,bots etc and can be used to perform malicious tasks of one sort or another under remote direction. Botnets of zombie computers are often used to spread e-mail spam and launch denial-of-service attacks. Most owners of zombie computers are unaware that their system is being used in this way. Because the owner tends to be unaware, these computers are metaphorically compared to zombies.
Even the website giants like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft disappeared for hours when their servers were swamped with hundreds of thousands of simultaneous webpage requests that they could not possibly service. It sounds a tough attack to orchestrate, but executing it could not have been simpler.The hacker just spread his bot all over the internet as these bots are resident on the system and they do not cause any actual harm to the system,they are left undetected, and the zombies keep flooding the webserver with requests till the server gets over loaded and cannot further process the requests and ultimately goes down.
1. Advertisements that pay:The sites have hundreds of fake links to advertisements of some other firms or even they use the google adsence , though being harmless for us but earns them a huge revenue and we loose our valuble time which could have put into some or the other productive works ,towards development of his studies of shaping up his future..
2. Spam dealing:There are sites which ask registration for viewing the contents ,and also mentioning that the registration is free , but dear friends nothing on the universe is free , Whenever we register to any porn site, they sell our emails to spammers and get money,Many sites do this, even this money also enter the black market promoting use of money for evil intentions
The fake world dosent end here, tons of other fake things around us, the proxies we use also have a vast scope of fraudent and information stealing and which will be presented in my book.This is only for some situations as I have already mentioned,sometimes true sites which offer genuine functionality also exist.
